It is 11 PM, I’ve had half a glass of wine, and I’m feeling crafty. Time to break out the sewing machine!
Our wedding photos arrived today. :-)
I knew it was dangerous when the lady at the candy store offered us a sample of fudge. We walked out of the store with a pound and a half of deliciousness.
My husband just asked if he could take me back to the wife store. That would be Tiffany’s, right?
I called in sick today. I had a horrible migraine (which is almost gone now) and I spent the day sleeping and being lazy. As a treat, Matt made me dinner. He did such a good job that I think he might get to make dinner more often.
Sometimes I wish I could bring Holly to work with me. This is one of those times. She is all cuddly and warm.
I tried to dress Holly up like Matt. As it turns out, she does not like wearing human-sized clothing. Oh well..
I have finished all my knitting projects. I am trying to decide what to start next. I’m so glad to be done with that yellow cowl. I am going to wear it proudly tomorrow and be glad that I am done working with all that yellow yarn. I think I will move on to something pink or red. I have new yarn to play with. Maybe I’ll work on some socks. They are highly portable and enjoyable.
I just went to Lunds on an emergency smoothie ingredient run. The cashier asked me what I had planned for the rest of the night. I looked at him like he was crazy and then I said “I’m going home to make a smoothie.. isn’t that obvious?” Seriously!
In other news, my magic bullet makes one darn good smoothie. Om nom..

My three day weekend has totally thrown me off. Yesterday felt like Monday, and today I was awake for over an hour before I realized that it is already Wednesday. Can I have a three day weekend every week?
I saw the resident rat. I was going to the laundry room to do some laundry and when I opened the door, there it was! Those little beady eyes stared at me for a few seconds before it scampered off. Yuck!
Last night my boss gave us all blankets for Christmas. Today it is pajama day. I’ve never been so cozy at work.
I bought a Keurig on Sunday. I might be a little obsessed. I completely love it. I even gave it a nickname. Yeah, maybe that is going too far. I just really love that little machine!
Thank you notes are officially done! And my hand is extremely cramped. I am regretting agreeing to write “my half” while Matt writes his. My half was much larger.
Andrea is going to be here in a little over an hour. I still am in my jammies, I need to shower, and I’ve hardly even started drinking my first cup of coffee. My lazy morning is quickly coming to a close. The good news for Andrea is that when she gets here, she can drink coffee if I’m not ready yet..
Remember the socks I was so upset about a few weeks ago? I finally decided to overcome my fears and my anger towards them. They are on my feet and I am happy! =)

I have a lunch date with my grandparents. My grandma makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches in the entire world. I can’t wait! If I’m really lucky, I might get some ice cream for dessert. =)

I am still at work at 8:00. I can’t believe that this man who goes to bed at 8:00 is the same guy I grew up in the bedroom next to. I swear he was always watching tv or playing video games until 2:00 in the morning.. My how things change..

Christmas tree ornaments are one of those things that you collect throughout your lifetime. Matt and I both have a lot of them, but we weren’t planning on having a big tree this year. Our mothers hung our ornaments on their trees for one last year. Today I decided I did want a big tree. Now we have a big tree with six ornaments on it. I have done a lot of holiday things today.
1- I put up our tree
2- I put lights on the tree
3- I hung our stockings on the wall (we don’t have a fireplace and anywhere else we put them, Holly might attack the pom-poms)
4- I bought Holly’s Christmas dress and tried it on her
Overall I would say it has been a fairly productive day.
I can’t sleep. Holly can though. I have never been so jealous of my cat.

Matt and I went to visit Grandma this morning. She made us laugh a lot. I love my grandma.
I finished knitting my socks. Then I promptly ripped one out. I am so mad at myself right now. And at these socks. I just want to cry.
Also, I am not going to be able to sleep until I fix them. What do I do? I want to burn these stupid socks.
You know when you walk into a room and it is painfully obvious that you were just the topic of conversation? Yeah, I’m pretty sure that just happened.
Holly is so excited to spend the weekend with all her cat cousins.
My coworkers are openly discussing their love of Twilight. Just another reason why I count down to breaks, the end of the day, and weekends.
Matt and I got married one month ago today. We are going out to breakfast to celebrate because I work evenings and we can’t have dinner together.
I put my knitting patterns on my kindle. I’m so fancy.
